It’s an interesting puzzle figuring out which of my stories/songs are well-suited to the current, cartoony style Claude’s got going on for music videos. Not most of them… but some are perfect for it. I figure I’ll work through those before trying to adapt into different styles.
“One Sheep” was originally inspired by sheep-hoarding in Catan, trying to build an entire city out of sheep. It never made much sense a short story. But as a music video??? Solid gold. Or maybe wool?
I really didn’t think this year could get any more trippy and unreal than last year… but so far, it’s off to quite the start.
We’ve hooked Claude up to Poe so I can experiment with different styles of music videos, beyond the first couple of cartoony ones… and… wow. WOW. It’s a lot of different pieces to handle, and it’s taking a lot of involvement… but the first video is looking AMAZING so far.
Until the last couple of years, I truly never believed I’d get to see my fiction turned into movies.
I was so wrong. The last year has been amazing. The last DAY has been amazing.
Choosing to sleep instead of make music videos should count as a Herculean task…

God, I’m having fun making little mini-movies of my short stories. “Spoiler Warning” will get uploaded later tonight, and right now, I need to pick which story is up next!
Upgrading from using just Claude to Claude Code is quite something.
“Spoiler Warning” is a music video about fandom, TV shows, and how perfectly good, beloved shows keep getting cancelled for no reason.
Oh yeah, it’s also about werewolves. And it’s super cool. And the song is very catchy. And you should watch it.
